Vision
The SUBWAY® Washington Games will be recognized as one of the finest series of amateur sporting events in the Northwest, one of the best state games in the country and an effective sports marketing tool for youth obesity prevention in Washington.

Mission
To promote physical fitness and health in Washington through participation in competitive sports from a recreational to a championship level.

Philosophy
Involving Washington's youth in competitive sports activities is an effective way to encourage residents to be physically fit and avoid obesity.  By participating in high quality amateur sports and recreational activities, Washington's youth will improve their health to participate in the SUBWAY® Washington Games.

Event Overview
The SUBWAY® Washington Games includes approximately 30 sports and recreational events and thousands of participants and spectators statewide.  Millions of additional impressions are made through advertising, promotions, thousands of mailers, coaching clinics, advertising and other publicity.

  • Clinics/Educational Seminars targeting health mentors

The SUBWAY® Washington Games will work to incorporate events that encourage participation by inactive young people in Washington and build a bridge to a healthier lifestyle.

Organization
The Evergreen State Amateur Athletic Council (nonprofit 501c3 organization) will manage the SUBWAY® Washington Games.  It is based out of the Seattle Sports Commission and Seattle's Convention and Visitors Bureau.

National Congress of State Games
The National Congress of State Games (NCSG) is a membership organization comprised of 37 Summer State Games and 14 Winter State Games organizations and a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee.
